Welcome to East Barnet Music Centre
Head of Centre: Rita Porzi
East Barnet Music Centre was set up in 1974 under the direction of Maxwell Pryce MBE. It is one of three well-established music centres in the London Borough of Barnet, together catering for over 700 young people of all ages on Saturday mornings during term time.
With over 250 children at East Barnet Music Centre the majority of musicians play either woodwind or brass instruments in a variety of ensembles. Tuition is also provided for young musicmakers, recorder players, guitarists, jazz enthusiasts, pop and rock players and singers. We now have a well established adult choir made up of keen parents. Apart from the usual end of term concerts, the Centre aims to provide playing opportunities in and outside Barnet. These have included local and National Festivals and residential courses.

Recorder/Drum/Guitar/Clarinet Tuition
Individual tuition available. If you would like to be put on the waiting list please contact the office or hand in your details to the reception desk. Adults are welcome to play the recorder.
